How to find the Right Lipstick Lip Color
Have you ever noticed that changing your lip color can change your entire mood?Want to instantly look sexier, bolder, more rested, more exciting, more glamorous or more organized; just change the color and texture of your lip color. Careful use of lip color can help define you or show the world who you are.
Lipstick lip color can be mixed and blended to achieve the color and look you want. It's a quick and easy way to dial up you mood, and improve your self confidence.
You don't have to be a trained make-up artist to wear and apply lip color properly. It's a great place to experiment with colors. Combining lip colors and experimenting with them can help you find that right color that is designed just for you.
Finding the Perfect Lip Color
When wearing absolutely no make-up find a lipstick lip color that looks great on your face. This enchanting lip color will make your skin, hair, and eyes look their best. It should be a lip toned color-somewhere in the range of brown-pink, nude, beige-pink, or rosy brown. You'll know it's the right color when you find it.
Once you discover your best color you can begin trying different combinations to achieve your own dazzling custom look. For example, recently my husband and I were invited to a semi-formal affair. He surprised me with a purple orchid corsage. Combined with a light purple silk blouse I added to the look by adding a plum lip color to the top of three layers of liquid lip color. The raves that evening just kept coming.
A liquid lip color such as LipSense is ideal to use in helping you find your own custom lip color. Or in the example above, I would rarely use a plum lip color as I have light skin, but as an accent it worked beautifully. LipSense is applied in three light coats (takes less than 30 seconds-I do not advise putting in on in a moving car). The top coat can be used to tone down a brighter color or to dial up an accent.
Another important beauty tip is the proper balance between eye and lip makeup. Get it right and it will give you a sophisticated modern look. If both features are made up they should not compete for attention. If you are emphasizing the eye makeup with a heavier smoky look go for a more neutral lip color.
Conversely, when making a statement with your lip color, for example, with a brighter red, it will work best with more neutral eye make-up.
With a little experimenting you can use lip color to create a variety of exciting looks. Good hunting!
